Hi everyone! I am so thrilled to announce that on Saturday, July 21st, I was crowned Miss Teen Canada World 2012!!

Here is how it happened;

July 21st – a day of intense rehearsals, hair and makeup and not to mention, extreme nerves! The final night show at the Miss Teen Canada World pageant was a must-attend event in Canada’s young entertainment world, featuring hosts Luke Bilyk from Degrassi: The Next Generation, Cynthia Loewen, Miss Earth Ontario 2012 and model at M.V.P. Management Inc and a special performance by Multi-Platunum Artist Karl Wolf!

In fact, this past week in Toronto was certainly a once in a lifetime privileged opportunity!  From meeting 61 delegates from across the country, being on Breakfast Television, Much Music Live, meeting Zack Werner to meeting four women mentors and much much more, I don’t think I can ever forget any of it!

The moment my name was called out, I was in utter disbelief. How could I, a college student from Montreal, be Miss Teen Canada World 2012?!

Crowning!

Now that I have had some time to reflect upon Saturday’s events, I realize that winning the title of Miss Teen Canada World 2012 is certainly a once in a lifetime-privileged opportunity to stand center stage and deliver a positive message out to the National audience. I would like to thank everyone at the MISS TEEN CANADA – WORLD PAGEANT for making this possible for me!

A special thanks to Miss Teen Canada World 2011, Lauren Howe, for her continual guidance and utter sweetness-I sure hope I can fill her shoes! What an amazing young women!

To all of the other 62 delegates, congratulations for all your accomplishments and good luck in all your future endeavours. Remember, we are all winners and you all still have one whole year to make a difference in your communities, never give up and remember that the sky is really the limit! I thank you all for the love you have showed me! I am, without a doubt, looking forward to the wide variety of opportunities that I will experience throughout my reign, things that would have never been possible before!!

I would like to thank my friends and family without whose help this journey would have never been possible.
